The recently appointed Seattle Parks and Recreation Superintendent, Jesús Aguirre, will be holding an open house for the Northeast area tomorrow at the Northgate Community Center (10510 5th Avenue NE) tomorrow from 2-4pm.

The information says:
Aguirre has been focused on getting to know Seattle, its parks and facilities, and the city’s neighborhoods and people since he started in June. Now one of his main priorities is to get to know you better – stakeholders, customers and residents.
He's interested in hearing about your experiences – positive and negative, your desires for your park and recreation system and your ideas to make the department even better.
The open house will feature staff from all over the department to share their work — from the employees who buy and build new parks to those who organize summer camps to our park rangers. There will also be free children’s activities and food.

To learn more go  here. And if you can't attend the meeting, give your feedback here.

The Superintendent will also be hosting a Laurelhurst specific meeting on October 20th from 6:30-8pm at the Community Center.
