Today from 1-7pm (closed 2-3pm), Bloodworks Northwest is holding a blood drive at the Laurelhurst Community Center in the parking lot.
The information says:
Donating blood takes less than an hour. It’s easy to do, nearly painless, and you can give blood six times a year. Yet fewer than five percent of the people who are able to give blood actually do so—and most of them give only once a year.
Donating one pint of blood saves three lives! Photo I.D. required and walk-ins welcome.
