Northeast Seattle Candidates Forum Tonight



The Northeast District Council is holding a Seattle City Council District 4 candidates forum tonight from 6:30-8pm at the University Heights Center (5031 University Way NE, Room 209).
 
All candidates are confirmed to attend that represent District 4, which includes Laurelhurst:
  • Jean Godden: currently City Councilmembers
  • Rob Johnson: Executive Director of Transportation Choices
  • Michael Maddux: Member, Parks Levy Oversight Committee
  • Abel Pacheco: Assistant Director of External Affairs for the UW Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity
  • Tony Provine, former Co-Chair of the Northeast District Council (NEDC), President of the Ravenna-Bryant Community Association, Vice Chair of the City Neighborhood Council, and Chair of the Seattle-King County Advisory Council on Aging and Disability.

    Questions for the candidates can be submitted in writing at the event. The event is cosponsored by the Northeast District Council,  Wedgwood Community Council, Roosevelt Neighborhood Association, University District Community Council, Laurelhurst Community Club, University Park Community Club, and Eastlake Community Council and is funded with support from the Department of Neighborhoods Neighborhood Matching Fund.
