May was a very strong month in our housing market in Laurelhurst. An up tick in listings
solds was a pleasant surprise. Compared to May of 2013 there were 10 sold properties with an average sales price of $1,230,000 . This year 8 properties sold with a median price
of $1,311,000, almost a $100,000 increase on 24 months.
Lots of buyers will low inventory equals multiple offers which translates into a continued strong sellers market. Plus, if you are thinking of selling your home this beautiful weather certainly doesn't hurt.
