New Art Exhibit At Miller Library

On Exhibit in the Miller Library
Yarrow - Hypha

A new art exhibit has opened at the Center for Urban Horticulture's Miller Library (3501 NE 41st Street). A reception will be held tomorrow from 5-7pm with the artists.

The information says:

The Hypha free nursery is a collaborative project to spread plants and ideas through Seattle. This exhibition showcases the artwork produced in 2014 by Shannon Welles and Lark Preyapongpisan to accompany the plants given away and the map of the first year of networking.
Plants are propagated and given away as gifts. Hypha incorporates artmaking, storytelling, and ethnobotany to provide cultural context and connection to the plants that comprise our landscape.
Select plants are accompanied by a handmade letterpress card and are mapped to illustrate the potential of such networks.
The artists invite plant lovers and people who appreciate letterpress art to a reception tomorrow.

The exhibit runs through March 31. For more information go here.
