Tonight from 6:30-7:30, the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street) is having a free class called "Gardening With Native Plants."

The class description says:
Learn more about the big trend in landscaping with native plants and why these low-maintenance beauties have become so popular.
Take home a list of Susie Egan’s favorite native shrubs, perennials, ferns and groundcovers that have adapted to the conditions here in the Pacific Northwest. They will not only save you water, energy, effort, and money but will also attract butterflies, birds, and help feed native wildlife.
Susie will also share her favorite websites, books and places to obtain native plants.  Let Mother Nature do all the work and leave you with time to simply enjoy it!

RSVP online, or call 206-685-8033.  There is a suggested $5 donation at the door.
