Children's Hospital To Pour Concrete 6am Wednesday For Bike Share Lane

Children's Hospital provided this information to share:

Until the end of the month from 8-5pm weekdays, we will begin work on the bike share lane between Phil Smart Way on campus and the bus stop off Sand Point.  All work is being done on campus and will not affect public streets, such as near by Sand Point Way.
This is the prep work to pour an 80’ X 7’ concrete pad for the bike share lane. This should not impact the existing vehicle traffic patterns.  All work will be staged off Phil Smart Way.  Flaggers will be provided by the contractor.  Only our hospital shuttles will be impacted on campus because we are closing one lane to remove dirt and place the concrete truck.
The only impact with regards to our neighbors is that we will have to pour the concrete at 6 – 8 AM on Wednesday August 27th.  It is the only way we can get concrete done on time – otherwise it has to be delayed or scheduled out 3 months from now.  It is our understanding that the work won’t create additional noise above the current level of Sand Point Way traffic.
