boots

Miller Library, located in Laurelhurst at the UW Botanic Gardens (3501 NE 41st Street)  is holding its last storytime until October on Saturday at 10:30am.

The  theme is "Machine Story Program."

Storytime is geared towards children ages 3 to 8. All ages and their families are welcome.

The information says:
We will travel back in time. First, a visit to 1935, where young gardener Lydia Grace Finch has a plan to make her world a little more beautiful. Then we’ll set the dial for about 1915, and travel to France to meet Claude Monet in his garden.
In our last book, we travel to back to the first decade of the last century to meet Mossy the turtle and her friend Scoot. After the stories, make your own mini moss garden in the program room.

Books to be read are:
THE GARDENER by Sarah Stewart
THE MAGICAL GARDEN OF CLAUDE MONET by Laurence Anholt
MOSSY by Jan Brett
