Registration is underway for a wide variety of spring youth classes and programs offered at the Laurelhurst Community Center.

EXPLORE THE ARTS AND SCIENCES
Ages 2-5
Explore the ART in SCIENCE with a class designed to create, inspire, and foster your child’s passion and love for art and science! This class will be filled with arts, crafts, projects, and even nature walks that will encourage students to see the world through creative eyes all while fostering an inquisitive scientific mind. PARENT AND CHILD POTTERY CLASS
Ages 3-5
In this class you and your child will explore fun clay projects together! You will learn basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pot, coil and slab. Participants will also have the opportunity to throw on the wheel.

U.K. PETITE SOCCER
Ages 3-5
UK Petite Soccer is an introduction to soccer for the 3-5 year old age range. We use a game-based approach to teach the fundamentals of soccer in a high energy, fun learning environment. All trainers are professional UK Elite coaches. Participants will receive a UK Petite t-shirt and certificate.

INDOOR NERF SOCCER LEAGUE

Get ready for some fun! Gather your friends to play in our coed indoor Nerf soccer league. Kids can be placed on teams as single players or teams can be formed by coaches. Registration packets are available at the community center or can be emailed to you by calling 206-684-7529. Teams practice one night a week at Laurelhurst Elementary School Gym and games are on Friday evenings.

YOUTH POTTERY
Ages 6-12
Students will experience different hand-building techniques in this class. Each week the instructor will guide you through
different projects using coil, slab, or pinch pot techniques. Kids will also learn how to use the pottery wheel to make tableware and some surface decorations. No class 5/26.

PIANO LESSONS
Ages 5-12
Learn expression through music! Laurelhurst piano class is a fun experience where lessons are tailored to each individual student.Lessons include reading music, playing by ear, music theory, and composition. Lessons are 30 minutes long. Please call or stop by the Laurelhurst Community Center to register for a specific half hour.
