Laurelhurst Wine Merchants Closing At The End Of This Month

Laurelhurst Wine Merchants (3711 NE 45th Street), which opened only about two and a half years ago  behind Jaks, will be closing next week.

Here is the email the owners recently sent out:

Subject: 'Liquidation' sale - HUGE savings

Dear friends and patrons of LWM,
It is with heavy heart we announce that we will be closing our doors by the end of July. We thank all of you for welcoming us to the neighborhood and sharing this incredible journey with us over the last couple of years. Small businesses like ours depend on the kind of generous support many of you have offered.

Beginning on Friday July 19 we will be liquidating our inventory with all wines and accessories at 25% off. This is your chance to stock your cellar and buy the glassware, decanters and accessories you may have been eyeing. If you've admired our racking, that will be available as well other items and fixtures. Pricing for fixtures is listed on our website www.laurelhurstwine.com.

If we may ask a favor, where possible, we would very much appreciate cash payment to save us the debit/credit transaction fees. You might consider bringing your own boxes and reusable wine bags as we are running low after doing less ordering in the last couple of weeks.

Thank you again for your patronage and know that we will miss you all dreadfully.
Cheers,
Janet, Richard and Lynda
