Kids Art Camp Offered This Week At Community Center

 

 

The Laurelhurst Community Center is offering an Art Camp this week for ages 7-12 called "Explore the ARTS n’ NATURE" from 1:30-4:30pm.

The camp description says:

This camp is designed to create, inspire, and foster your child’s passion and love for art and nature! Each day will be filled with arts, crafts, projects, and even nature walks that will encourage students to see the world through creative eyes all while fostering an inquisitive scientific mind. 

The instructor, Audrey Myrosh, has a B.S. in Zoology from Oklahoma State University and has taught highschool.  Audrey currently writes science curriculum for Rice University in Texas, teaches art classes in her community to inspire individual expression, and pursues her own art.
