On Sunday from 10-1pm, the Junior League of Seattle is having its third annual free Touch-A-Truck event offering children a hands-on opportunity to explore heavy machinery and meet the people who drive the various vehicles, including construction trucks, utility vehicles, emergency responders, tractor-trailers, buses, and semi- trucks.
Children will be able to explore the trucks and professionals will be on hand to explain the equipment and discuss the work they do using the vehicles and machines.

The Junior League of Seattle anticipates approximately 20 trucks at the event, including, two Kenworth semi-trucks - the lead sponsor of the event. In addition, Darigold will bring its “Farmalicious” tractor and will distribute dairy products.
The American Red Cross will park two of its own trucks, which are used during disasters to distribute water, food and relief supplies. Ness and Campbell Crane, which provides service for construction sites across the Northwest, will also be on display.
Food trucks from restaurants such as Skillet, Where Ya at Matt and The Grilled Cheese Experience will serve items off their menus.
The event will also include games and crafts.
