Register Now For Emerald City Fall Soccer Leagues At Laurelhurst Community Center

Emerald City FC soccer club has partnered with the Laurelhurst Community Center and other city community centers to offer a fall soccer league for kids of all abilities from ages 6-13. Games will be played from September through part of November and end before basketball season starts.

Brad, with the Club told us that what sets this league apart from other city soccer leagues, is that it is inexpensive and the team parent coaches are partnered with the professional coaching staff, through coaching education clinics, skill clinics, referee training for teens, and practices at sites so coaches can see  select (higher level) teams training and partner with a coach as a mentor..

Games are played within Seattle neighborhoods at participating community centers, Loyal Heights (Ballard), Bitter Lake (Northgate), Delridge (West Seattle), Garfield (Central District), and Meadowbrook (View Ridge).

Information about the club on the website says:
Emerald City FC, Seattle’s oldest premier soccer organization, formed in 1979, brings select soccer to the youth of Seattle. Our mission is simple – to teach skills and develop players.

What started out as a small venture has grown into a club with 30 teams, over 500 players, and many state championships under its belt. Our players come from all over Seattle, share a passion for the game, seek to improve their skills, and want to play at the highest possible level.
