Former UW Basketball Player Holding Basketball Classes After School At Villa

Former UW Husky Basketball Legend Donald Watts of Watts Basketball is partnering with Villa Academy for an ongoing basketball basketball training program with classes held multiple days per week through the end of the school year starting at 4pm running every hour until 9pm.

The program, available to the public, focuses on "developing basketball fundamentals, athletic movement, and mental preparation."

Donald Watts' father, Slick Watts, was a Seattle Sonics NBA player, and Donald Watts was selected Washington State’s High School Basketball Player of the Year. He went on to play with the University of Washington basketball team, in which they went to two NCAA tournament appearances, including one Sweet Sixteen appearance. He continued to play professional basketball all over the world.

Watts Basketball offers a variety of prrograms including small groups, specialized clinics, Team Training and after school programs.

Classes are seventy five minutes long with one hour of basketball instruction and fifteen minutes of fitness conditioning.
