A Laurelhurst resident sent us this email about her car being hit while parked across the street from the entrance to Laurelhurst Park on NE 41st Street, very early Sunday morning:
At approximately 2:30 am on Sunday morning, a driver hit our red VW bug at the top of NE 41st Street.
The driver caused significant damage to the vehicle (see photo) but left the scene and did not leave a note.
We think it could have been a large truck or SUV that doesn't show much damage.
