Join the first annual free Laurelhurst Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day starting at 9am, hosted by Laurelhurst residents, Katie and Brian Larson.
The informal 5K Fun Run/Walk willl zig zag through Laurelhurst, following a course map given at the start.
Meet at the northeast corner of Laurelhurst Park by the overpass and bring a nonperishable food donation for the Food Bank.
Neighbors, family, dogs and friends and neighbors are all invited to the "very casual and fun Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning" Katie told us.
"Be prepared to burn some calories and have a good time before the Thanksgiving stuffing!" Katied added.
