Laurelhurst Elementary School has started its "Direct Give 2012" fundraising campaign that runs through the end October 26th.
One of the Campaign Chairs sent us this information:
Laurelhurst Elementary invites the community to support our neighborhood public school through the Direct Give program.
The Direct Give program was developed by the PTA to replace several other fundraisers that required selling goods and paying vendors more than 50% of proceeds.
Fundraising is a crucial factor in ensuring that our students receive a stellar education. Donations help fund: vocal and instrumental music, librarian, art, math and reading tutors, safety patrol, teacher supplies and more.
Donations are 100% tax deductible and donor names are proudly displayed in the school hallway.
Donations of any amount can be left in the school office or mailed to Laurelhurst Elementary: 4530 46th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98105.
