Variety Of Fall Kids Sports Classes Starting At Community Center

The Laurelhurst Community Center is offering a variety of children's sports classes starting in the next few weeks.

Nerf Soccer
Ages 5-6
This league is a fun introduction to the great team sport of soccer. Kids are placed on teams individually or can sign up as
a team. Practices are once a week and can been any weeknight between 5-8pm. Games are Friday nights. Register in person to fill out forms for soccer.

UK Petite Soccer
UK Petite Soccer is an introduction to soccer for the 3-6 year old age range. We use a games based approach to teach
the fundamentals of soccer in a high energy, fun learning environment. All trainers are professional UK Elite coaches.

Youth Tennis Lessons (Beginning)
Ages 6-12
Youth lessons in forearm, backhand, serving, volley, and net action learn the basic skills and improve your game.

 Girls Volleyball League
Age Groups: 10-11, 12-13, & 14-17
Minimum: 5 girls per team
Girls will learn teamwork, sportsmanship and volleyball fundamentals leading into more advanced skills. Players may sign up at their local community center. Practices will occur at their home site while games will occur at various centrally located community centers. League play begins the week of 9/17 and concludes on 11/17. $35

Flag Football League (Co-ed)
Age Groups: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14
Minimum: 5 players per team
Players learn basic skills, team play, and sportsmanship in this citywide league. Players may sign up at their community center and are placed on teams. Games are played in accordance with NFL flag football rules and field dimensions. League play begins on September 17 and concludes on November 17. Teams practice at their local community center. $35
