NE Seattle Little League District Championship Game Tonight At The Park
John Joynt, with Northeast Seattle Little League (NESL), would like to invite the community to the District All Star tournament Championship Game Tournament tonight at 6pm at Laurelhurst Park.
The Championship will feature Woodinville versus. Northeast Seattle. The winning team will represent District 8 in the State Tournament, which will be played in Walla Walla later this month.
"It would great to fill the bleachers and outfield with Northeast fans. So please wake the neighbors and phone the kids to rally as much support as possible," John told us.
The full tournament schedule is here and you can also follow all of the Northeast Seattle All Star teams on Facebook and Twitter.

The Northeast All Stars lost in extra innings last night, but the best of Northeast Seattle was on display at Laurelhurst Park – from the:
• BASEBALL being played on the field – a 5-4 eight-inning classic vs. Woodinville, two-time defending District Champions; to the
• FANS in attendance – it was standing room only as several hundred Northeast fans crammed the bleachers and filled the outfield grass; to the
• VOLUNTEERS who made it all happen – numerous board and family members who spent the past ten days prepping the fields, announcing the games, selling concessions, and taking everything down at the end of each day.
The District Tournament was truly a community event that will long be remembered by the players, coaches, and families. Thanks to all who made it happen through their assistance, support, and cheering!
