Toddler Spanish Music Classes Starting At Community Center

The Laurelhurst Community Center is offering a toddler Spanish music class after having received several requests at the recent Open House, Cara, Community Center Recreation Coordinator, told us.

The Musikal Magik Spanish mini session of four classes will start this Friday from 9:30-10:15am and the cost is $48.

 Here is the class description for ages 1 month to 5 years:

Experience a unique way of learning Spanish though live guitar music, movement and the visual language of American Sign Language. We move, sing, dance, pound on drums and sign to Spanish songs and activities. This class offers a rich language and music appreciation environment to children at a time when they are ripe to acquire these skills while also offering parents and caretakers an opportunity to learn Spanish and ASL with them.  Instructor: Betsy Dischel
