Barb, who co-chair the perennials and lives in Laurelhurst, would like to remind the community that the annual King County Master Gardener Foundation Plant Sale is happening this week-end at the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street) in Laurelhurst. Hours are Saturday 8-5pm and Sunday 10-3pm.
The sale will feature edibles and ornamentals, including thousands of tomato plants, veggie starts and herbs plus perennials, shrubs, trees and vines from Master Gardeners & local specialty growers.
The proceeds benefit Master Gardeners of King County, supporting community outreach, stewardship and public education.
