March Real Estate Recap
March 2012 proved to be much more of a seller's market with 4 homes sold this March compared to only 1 home sold in March of 2011. Also important to note is that with only one sale last March of $750,000, the average sold price this year almost doubled to $1,265,000! This is very good news for sellers.
In King County the average days on market has significantly decreased which is also occurring in Laurelhurst, with 3 of the 4 pending properties on the market less than 4 days. This coupled with a city wide lack of inventory (down approximately 30%) from last year, gives the sellers an advantage when negotiating.
