One of our readers, Joe Walker, sent us email that he teaches rock, blue and jazz acoustic and electric guitar lessons in the neighborhood.
His business is called Deft Digits and he teaches children and adults in his home studio on Sand Point Place, just north of Seattle Children's Hospital.
Joe told us that many of his students live right in Laurelhurst.
Joe's dad grew up in Laurelhurst, and Joe says he has many memories of playing at his late grandparents' house on 52nd Avenue NE as a child.
