Gordon MacIntosh, of University Wines (5436 Sand Point Way), let us know that Laurelhurst area native, owner and winemaker Joe Forest of Tempus Cellars located in Walla Walla, will be tasting this Saturday from 11-4pm at University Wines, next to City People's.
Joe told us that he has many wine club members who live Laurelhurst and he has held several private tastings at homes in Laurelhurst. Tempus Cellar wines are featured in just about every restaurant within a one mile radius of Laurelhurst, including University Wines, Sandpoint Grill, Jak's and Varlamos..
Seattle Magazine listed Tempus Cellars as a "Top 10 New Washington Winery." Tempus Cellars has already secured several 90+ scores from Wine Enthusiast Magazine and 2 wines on Top 100 Washington Wines lists in a very short period of time.

My wife and I are Tempus Cellars Wine Club members. We are big fans of the wines, the 2008 cab is our favorite! We actually held a tasting at our home on 41st, and had all our friends and neighbors over. It was a really fun event, and Joe was an amazing host. If you are a wine lover, I highly recommend swinging by and meeting Joe and trying his wines.
