Don't miss the fifth annual annual Laurelhurst Elementary School Golf tournament happening on Monday, October 3rd at the Broadmoor Club.
All proceeds from the tournament will go towards renovating the North playground as part of the Laurelhurst School Community Playground Renovation Project.
The playground committee has finalized the Phase 2 plan and are moving forward with the process of making the new playground happen.
The renovations included in the phase are:
- New asphalt black top with repaired drainage
- A colorful United States map
- Sports field
- New four square lines
- New entry plaza with a Laurelhurst Bear Logo
- Outdoor classroom and stage area to be utilized by the students, teachers and other community groups
They added that the Golf Tournment is "going to be a great time and we want to make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to play a wonderful course! as well as support Laurelhurst Elementary."
The driving range will open at 10:30am and the schramble (take best drive and the each player plays their own ball in and take best score) will start at 12:30 pm.
The $250 registration fee includes greens fees, golf cart, lunch, dinner, prizes, and contests. If you purchase a foursome you’ll save $100 off the total.
