Summer TBall League Needs More Players

Kristin, a Laurelhurst parent, sent us email wanting to let the neighborhood know that there are openings for the Summer TBall League for 5-6 year olds.

She tells us that 9 more kids are needed to keep this program happening.

And Kristin said it's a very fun program that both her older daughters played  in over the years and had a great time.
One big change this year, will be that the games, once held at the Laurelhurst Playfields, will be held at Magnuson. "Wish it was still at Laurelhurst but even Magnuson is better than nothing!" Kristin told us.

What makes the league fun, is that all the community centers play eachother.

Kristin said it's "great for kids who have never played or those who just want to play more – friends can sign up together.  My older daughters both started out in this program and now are playing fastpitch."

The program runs June 24th through August 26th. The weekly game nights are still being schedued.  The cost is $45.

To register, call the Magnuson Community Center at 206-684-7026.
