Scary Tales Storytime This Morning and Halloween Tea Party on Thursday

The theme for this morning's storytime at the Laurelhurst Community Center, is Scary Tales. But not too scary, Dena, Recreation Coordinator tells us.

After the stories, children will get to decorate a Halloween picture frame and make a ghost ornament.

Storytimes are every Tuesday from 10:30-11:30am for ages: 2-5.  Cost is $2 pre-register, or $3 drop-in fee.

Also Dena tells us that there are a few spots left for the Halloween Tea Party this Thursday from 10:30-12pm.

Children can dress in costume. And lunch will be provided for kids.

Register ahead of time to guarantee a spot by calling 684-7529. Cost is $5 per child. Once registration is full, no drop-ins will be accepted.
