Housing Needed For Aboretum Student From France

BJ from the Arboretum sent us this email to post:

"Our partners at UW Botanic Gardens are seeking housing for their French summer horticulture intern, who’s arriving in Seattle tomorrow. The intern, Benoit, attends the largest private agricultural school in France (www.institutdegenech.fr) and is participating in the UWBG’s Short-Term Immersion Summer Program, which provides students with a cultural immersion experience in the career field of their interest. Unfortunately, Benoit’s housing arrangements have unexpectedly fallen through, and we are looking to place him with a family near Washington Park Arboretum (within walking or biking distance) for all or part of the coming month.

Benoit is 21 years old, speaks conversational English, and comes highly recommended by our partner organization in France. He will be responsible for his own transportation and personal expenses while in the States. He will also be fully covered by an AVI International Personal Health and Accident Policy that includes emergency medical evacuation and repatriation coverage. If you are interested in providing housing for Benoit, please email Paige Miller at the Arborteum at pmiller@arboretumfoundation.org or call her at 206-325-4510."
