Neighborhood Community Arts Events Receive Funding

Forty neighborhood community cultural and art events received funding awards from the Seattle's Government's Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs.

Each of the 40 events will receive $1,200.

The events awarded happen all over the city, and throughout the year. They range from live music and comedy shows, art shows, ethnic and cultural events such as Lunar New Year celebrations, National Film Festival, major festivals at the Seattle Center and more.

In this area, awarded were the Jazz Picnic at Magnuson, Wedgwood Arts Festival, and the Edible Book Festival at the Good Shepherd Center.

Here is the complete list.
