This Friday, October 30 from 5-8pm is Laurelhurst Elementary School's Annual Kids Halloween Karnival. And you don't want to miss it. It's always lots of fun!

"Come join in the fun, crafts and delicious Varlamos pizza on Friday, October 30th from 5:00-8:00pm! This important annual fundraiser is fun for the whole family! Spread the word to friends and neighbors about this great event for all ages!" the school says in a mailing.

Some fun raffle items offered this year which cost 10 tickets or $5 to enter will be the new Nintendo DS Lite in RED including a Super Mario Game and new Razor Powerwing Scooter in Black and Orange.

New this year are glow necklace or bracelets which will be next to the popcorn in the Play court or at the Raffle table in the Cafeteria. Also the new Laurelhurst T-shirts will be available to buy. Can't wait to see it!

Volunteers are still needed for the event. Contact Tisha Patt at tishapatt@comcast.@ or LauraGreengerg at laura_greengerg@hotmail.com.

Tickets can be pre-ordered by returning the form the school provides by today or you can pre-order tickets in person at the north playground before and after school today. You can also pick-up your pre-sale tickets today as well.
