Neighbors Find Good Views for Fireworks

Neighbors were out last night at the park bringing chairs, blankets and picnics. Kids were arriving in pajamas for the late night fireworks. The show from the park was spectacular and very clear.

The Beach Club stayed open for the first time this year so that members could see the fireworks from there. And that also was a pretty good view. You could see not only the Kirkland fireworks, but the Bellevue fireworks, Madison Park fireworks and looked like a show from way up on a hill over on the Eastside. They were all at quite a distance but fun to see so many shows going at one time. Added to all that were some pretty cool fireworks going off at the docks on either side of the Beach Club.

And the best part about the evening was no traffic getting home!
