Le Petit Shoppe, a children's consignment store in Laurelhurst on NE 45th is having a fundraiser this Sunday from 12-4:30.
Katherine Meenk, the new owner, tells us she is opening during this special day and time to raise funds for the 3 day breast cancer walk coming up in September.
"I just wanted to find a fun way to raise money for the 3 day breast cancer walk that I am going to participate in, as well as bring together the community for a great cause, perhaps something close to their hearts. I have been surrounded by individuals in the past few years who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be walking with a friend that is currently fighting the disease. I am hoping to make at least a small dent to help support," Katherine tells us.
She is donating all the money for all purchases made that day to the Breast Cancer
3-Day event that she will be participating in September 11th- 13th.
