February Neighborhood Private Security Patrol And Seattle Police Crime Reports

Below are two separate reports for February crime activity in the neighborhood. 

The first is the Neighborhood Private Security Patrol activity report (subscribe here) provided by the Laurelhurst Community Club.

The second is the Seattle Police crime report.

Laurelhurst Private Security Patrol Report:

Patrol Activities:

• 27 patrols during the month
• 0 residential burglaries
• 3 car prowls (sounds anecdotally like it's happening when cars are left unlocked)

In reviewing 2016 crime data - over 90% of car prowls happened north of 41st Avenue NE and almost 90% of the 9 car thefts happened in the southwest quadrant of the neighborhood with 2 in the Webster point area.
