NEST (Northeast Seattle Together), which supports Northeast Seattle elder neighbors through a network of volunteers and vendors, is having a special event tomorrow at 2pm with Jean Godden, former city columnist at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and the Seattle Times.
The information says:
Jean will share some of the great stories she never told before, as well as some of her old favorites. Jean served three terms on the City Council, working to close the gender wage gap, to keep city services strong, and to reopen the city’s waterfront. Refreshements will be served.
The event will be held at the NEST office (7736 24th Avenue NE). Enter the parking lot on 25th Ave NE and NE 80th Street, across from Dahl Field.
